7th of March 2008
Due to the World Women”s Day, our honorable President of the Republic, Abdullah GÜL, has been visited and been interviewed by Board Members and our Association President.

8th of March 2008
Due to the World Women’s Day, Anıtkabir (Atatürk”s Monumental Tomb) is visited and a wreath is placed on the mosoleum of Atatürk. Besides, participation to the panel, which is arranged under the supervision of Fatma ŞAHİN who is the President of Women”s Branch of AK Pakrty, named “International 4th Local Administrations Woman Council” and in which our honorable Prime Minister and international participants available, is performed.

9th of April 2008
At the time of 13:30, a dinner party, in which we have concluded the economic developments and consulted with our honorable Government Minister Mehmet ŞİMŞEK, is performed in Çırağan Palace. In addition to TİKAD Members, the names such as Meral TAMER who is the newspaper columnist and Aynur BEKTAŞ have attended to this meeting.

6th of June 2008.
On the morning of 6th of June 2008, Gaziantep is visited for the South east Voyage. During the day, the visit to honoured Mehmet Aslan; the President of Chamber of Commerce, and participation to the briefing that is performed by honoured Cahit NAKIPOĞLU; the President of Gaziantep Organized Industrial Area and also the Chairman of Naksan Holding, the company visits, and the participation to the dinner that is arranged by Hasan ERSOY, who is the Chairman of Torkut Group, in Tuğcan Hotel with the participation of the important industrialists.

7th of June 2008
The President of Şanlıurfa Chamber of Commerce, honoured İsmail Demirkol, is visited.

 8th of June 2008
The visits to Diyarbakır Governor, honoured Avni Mutlu and Dicle University Rector, honoured Fikri Canoruç are done, and the meal with Businessman from Diyarbakır is performed. And a meeting with the President of Diyarbakır Metropolitan Municipality, honoured Osman Baydemir is done. The dinner is realized with the participation of the President of Mardin Municipality, at the Mardin Çerçiş Howf. Later on, travel from Diyarbakır to Mardin is done.   

19th of June 2008
A group of businesswomen, including the Chairman of TİKAD, Nilüfer Bulut, Vice President Demet Sabancı Çetindoğan Dilek Hanif, Zehra Neşe Kavak and Müge Sırmabıyık, by visiting the facilities of Cebeci Factory of Istanbul Halk Ekmek, have explained by a press release that they had witnessed that it has been manufactured in a most sanitary environment

18th of August 2008
The Chairman of TİKAD and the Members, by hosting honoured Kadir Topbaş in the lunch, have held a Listening and Conclusion meeting which is about 2010 European Capital Istanbul.  

11th of September 2008.
On the date of 11th of September 2008, TİKAD Members have arranged a Love Fast-breaking meal with the participation of all the Spiritual Leaders and the Business World.

8th of November 2008 
As Turkish Businesswomen Association, for the purpose of calling for constituting the common action to Turkish Army, Turkish Citizens and to the Turkish Government about the works to be done and the precutions to be taken, a press conference is held on the date of 8th of October, Wednesday, at 10;30, in M – 31 Hall of Conrad Hotel, and the campaign of “The Full Unity Against the Terror” is initiated by TİKAD.

On the date of 27th of October 2008, our Association has hosted the Romania Businesswoman Association on a lunch in Conrad Hotel. 

2-3rd of  November 2008
On the date of 2-3rd of November, the Chairman of TİKAD, Nilüfer Bulut and the TİKAD Membershave realized the participation to the meeting with the title of “Islam Countries Businesswomen Fourth Forum”, which is arranged under the auspices of honoured Esma Esad who is the wife of the President of Syrian Arab Republic, in Damascus Meridian Hotel.

21th of November 2008
On the date of 21th of November 2008, the World Businesswoman Summit Symposium under the name of “THE ECONOMIC, POLITICAL, CULTURAL AND SOCIAL COOPERATION OF THE INTERNATIONAL BUSINESSWOMEN IN THE GLOBAL CHANGE” is arranged by TİKAD in Çırağan Palace Kempinski.

“The Full Unity Against the Terror Campaign – Terror Action Plan Meeting” is done.

In order to make the presentation of “We Are All Mothers”, “The Full Unity Against the Terror”, the wife of the President of the Republic, honoured Hayrunnisa Gül is visited.

The contribution to the “Palestinian Summit”, which is hosted by the wife of our honourable Prime Minister, honourable Emine Erdoğan, is provided as TİKAD.

TİKAD Board Members have visited Köksal TOPTAN, on the date of 10th of March, within the context of “8th of March Women’s Day”, in order to conclude the economic, political and social developments experienced in Turkey, and to support the “Step by step to National Sovereignty in 90th Annual” Project (90. Yılda Milli Egemenliğe Adım Adım).
