The TİKAD Members, including President of the Association Nilüfer BULUT and board members Demet ÇETİNDOĞAN SABANCI, Sema GÜRAL SÜRMELİ, Hülya KALYONCU, Figen KUZANLI, Müge SIRMABIYIK and Sevgi AKSOY, have mentiond to Köksal TOPTAN that they want to give support to the project of “Step by step to National Sovereignty in 90^th Annual” in which the establishment process of TBMM, which was founded in 23^rd of April 1920, is to be celebrated. 

The Chairman of TİKAD, Nilüfer BULUT, by pointing out that the woman is the leader of social development, said “We reconstitute our works, with the belief that Turkish women should

undertake more active duties, in order Turkey may reach to the contemporary civilizations level and have a more liberated and more democratic status. Just as were effective the Turkish women in the Turkish War of Independence, as of they were effective on the war front during the process of the establishment of our Republic; and as of today, the economy, politics, arts and social social life being on the first place, they constitute the base of Turkish family structure.”

Bulut, who emphasizes the importance of national unity and solidarity on these days in which the global financial crisis is experienced, said “We, as TİKAD, give a great importance the project of “Step by step to National Sovereignty in 90^th Annual. Because we believe that this project so important for Turkey. Under this roof, where the national sovereignty spirit of our nation is manifested, we deeply feel the national struggle that Mustafa Kemal Atatürk had started with his statement “Sovereignty Rests Unconditionally With the Nation”. Therefore, we, as TİKAD, will give our support to all of the activities which will be performed in connection with the 90^th anniversary of this sacred institution to which you head.”
