In the statement made by TIKAD, it was indicated that Turkey was in the bottom of the ranking between developed and developing countries in terms of the employment rate of women in business and the following was stated:

"The point that we have arrived as a consequence of not being able to possess our rights we have got earlier than many European countries as Turkey is inexcusable and extremely sad for the Turkish women.In addition to many of the problems to be solved in the 21st century, a new obstacle was raised for women; all other issues were disposed of and the women's problems were locked in the headscarf issue.

Therefore, as the Turkish Business Women's Association (TIKAD), to correctly determine the headscarf issue in Turkey and the reflections of this issue on education and business life and to create a solution platform, we conducted a public opinion survey on a total of 3052 participants in 26 provinces who were women covering their head, women not covering their head, men with their wives' heads covered and men with their wives' heads not covered." TIKAD declared that it will share the results of this research with the public on November 24.
